The National Insurance Commission (NAICOM), has commissioned a 150=capacity lecture theatre, “NAICOM Building” for The Kaduna State University yesterday.
The first of its kind project was achieved through the financial assistance of NAICOM under the programme called the Financial Assistance to Tertiary Institutions (FATI). The project be jointly done by NAICOM and the Kaduna State University in order to have a befitting structure.
Commending all that were involved in the scheduled delivery including the Ag. Vice Chancellor of Kaduna State University, Prof. Abdullahi Musa Ashafa, he urged the VC not to relent effort in the drive to attract further development to the University.
NAICOM said its support to the Kaduna State University was in furtherance of resolve of the management to achieve one of its mandate which is to promote insurance education and other related subjects towards achieving human capital development provided for in Section 19 (c) of the NAICOM Act 1997.
Elated NAICOM said the completion of the 150 capacity lecture theatre will undoubtedly be a value-addition to the Kaduna State University, particularly the students who will use the facility. “It is our firm belief that you will put this infrastructure to good use for the benefit of all stakeholders.”
