Before presenting the award, NAIPCO chairman, Chuks Okonta, said, “over the years, we have been thinking on what to do to celebrate and encourage our friends and spokespersons in the two sectors we cover; so this year, we decided to come up with this award. It is a way of telling them that we have seen what you have done, keep it up. We know there are a lot of other deserving winners but we cannot give to every one at the same time.”
Okonta while congratulating the winners, urged them to expand the frontiers of mutual benefits and also support the programmes of the association which give companies more public exposure, these include corporate profiling, and it projects management team, products and claims history.
